Aerial photo & scale
Search your address to load LINZ aerial imagery with the scale set automatically — or screenshot your site from a maps app (top-down, zoomed in), upload it, then click the two ends of something you know the length of (a fence line, the house frontage, a parked car ≈4.5 m).
Sketch & landscaping
With no tool active, tap a building, pool, fountain or garden bed on the plan to select, rotate, or remove it.
Stations & levels
Stations are generated along your sketched centreline. Enter existing ground level (EGL) at each station, then set design finished levels (FL) — or set FL at the first and last station and auto-grade the rest at a constant gradient.

Volumes use the average-end-area method between stations across the full formation width (driveway width + batters), with a 10% compaction/waste allowance on imported material. Cut volume is bank (in-ground) measure — bulk it up ~20–25% for truck loads. Concept-level numbers only: confirm with a site survey before ordering.
